Rubus hybrid \'Purple Star\'PVR
It has white flowers in early spring are followed by large firm conical dark wine-red berries of excellent flavour.
It is moderately vigorous and canes are thornless growing to 1.5 n x 3 m. Self-fertile. Insect and bee pollinated.
Crops in December to January with heavy yeilds under the ideal conditions. Maturity is determined when full colour is reached and the fruit is easily removed.
