Reputed to be a peach/apricot cross. Golden late season fruit that are very sweet and tasty with a firm, meaty texture. An attractive red blush on the skin develops on the sun-exposed side of the fruit. Late season variety. I have found fruit needs to picked as soon as ripe I have not had problems with rots
