Fraxinus griffithii is a species of ash tree that is evergreen and native to Asia. It has a broad crown of soft foliage and white flowers in spring. It can grow up to 6m tall and is suitable for street planting, hedging or as a feature tree
It is a relatively easy tree to grow. Here are some tips:
- Plant it in a sunny spot with well-drained soil
- Water it daily when it has just been planted, (unless it has rained) then once a week or more in dry weather
- Fertilize it once a year in spring with a balanced fertilizer
- Prune it lightly in winter to maintain its shape and health
