Although called Star Jasmine it is not related to the yellow or pink Jasmines the name relates to its county of origin Japan
A hardy climber or ground cover with dense compact glossy green foliage that can turn reddish in winter. Clusters of scented primrose yellow flowers through summer constrast well with the foliage. Hardy to frost, prefers a warm sheltered site, in sun or semi-shade. Dry tolerant once established.
This variety will only spread or climb to a metre over 4 or 5 years, Prefers even soil moisture but will tolerate dry soils
