Although its common name is Star Jasmine it is not related to Yellow or pink Jasmines
It is a very versitile evergreen shrub that can be used as ground cover or as a climber. It lends itself to being espaliered. In Cambridge planted in beds along the main street it will spread up to 2 m but will take trimming
The little white wax like flowes are scented and appear in summer and contrast to the green of the leaves
It prefers full sun but will thrive in semie shade
Although very hardy the leaves can take on a redish colour over winter
