A widely planted variety as the most cold hardy lemon variety. Low spreading tree habit with few thorns.
Iy produces large juicy bright golden smooth thin-skinned fruit. Once tree is established, it will bear fruit all year round each year
Meyer lemons are thought to be a lemon crossed with either a mandarin or orange, so is a sweeter type of fruit, with a lemon-like appearance and flavour.
They need protection from frosts and like all citrus will need regular feeding with a citrus fertilizer and as shallow rooted keep free of weeds and minimum soil disturbance
